The Village of Point Venture is located on a peninsula of Lake Travis. Point Venture is 30 miles Northwest of Austin in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. The climate is considered to be one of the nation's healthiest, with 300 or more days of sunshine each year and the clean air of the Texas Hill Country. Average temperatures range from 74 - 94 degrees in the summer to 40 - 60 degrees in the winter. Point Venture is popular for its many amenities that are offered to both owners and rental guests. These amenities include the Point Venture golf course, Jr. Olympic swimming pool, workout room, tennis courts, waterfront park and boat ramps, as well as a floating restaurant.

Golf
The breathtaking views of the Texas Hill Country and Lake Travis are just a small part of the experience of the Point Venture Golf course. Featuring a practice putting green, driving range and pro shop, the Point Venture 2,815 yard nine hole golf course is open to the public, and given an "A" rating by TravelGolf.com Golf carts are available for rent. Pool
A private Jr. Olympic sized pool, with views of Lake Travis and the Marina is just one of the many amenities offered in Point Venture. Whether you choose to swim laps or float in the sun, the crystal clear waters will relax and refresh you. It is located near the office complex, is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The Pool is for the use of Point Venture property owners and their guests. There is a comfortable, shaded cabana area next to the pool, as well as rest room facilities

Workout Room
Located near the pool, and the POA office the work out room features state of the art work out equipment, and cable TV. You can stay in shape in air-conditioned comfort, with beautiful views of Lake Travis from the oversized windows.

Tennis Courts
Tennis is played twelve months a year at Point Venture. Located throughout the community each court is well maintained, beckoning the novice as well as the more seasoned player. Six laykold tennis courts are available for property owners and their guests. Four courts are lighted and have covered bleachers for the hard core.

Waterfront Park
The 50 acre waterfront park is the perfect place for a family picnic or BBQ with picnic tables and grills, as well as a gated playscape for the children. A covered Pavilion for larger groups is also available. With 2 boat ramps, and plenty of parking, there is rarely a wait to get your boat in the water to enjoy beautiful Lake Travis. To get to the waterfront park take Venture Blvd. South, just past the golf course Pro Shop is Venture Dr, turn right on Venture Dr, then turn left on Whispering Hollow. The Park is at the end of Whispering Hollow.

Marina
The Point Venture Marina is a private marina owned by the Point Venture property owners Association. The marina does not rent watercraft and does not permit use of any marina slips by renters or guests. Services that are available include a floating restaurant, gas station ands store. The floating restaurant, The Pier, is popular with local residents as well as boaters on Lake Travis. With a full service bar, and a varied menu The Pier is the perfect spot for an evening out or a relaxing lunch. Children and adults alike enjoy feeding the schools of massive catfish and carp from the deck of The Pier. The Pier is accessible both by land and water with ample parking for both boats and autos. The Pier is open year round through, depending, of course on the weather.
